About the role

We're hiring a UX / Front-End Engineer to design, build, and deploy the user interfaces that power SwanTech AI's intelligent semiconductor platforms.

In this role, you'll take ownership of crafting modern, performant, and visually compelling user interfaces that translate technical depth into intuitive, elegant, and highly usable experiences. You'll collaborate closely with UX designers, back-end engineers, and AI researchers to build experiences that make sophisticated hardware/software insights accessible for end users.

You will:

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end interfaces for SwanTech's AI platforms.
  • Collaborate with UX designers to translate complex semiconductor workflows into clear, engaging user experiences.
  • Integrate AI/LLM model outputs into user-facing tools and dashboards for design automation, verification, or analysis workflows.
  • Prototype interactive features and validate designs with internal and external users.
  • Optimize front-end performance, ensuring low latency and smooth rendering across devices and browsers.
  • Work cross-functionally with back-end, ML, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs, model outputs, and datasets.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and quality.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and cross-browser testing to ensure robustness and scalability.
  • Document reusable front-end patterns, coding standards, and performance guidelines.

How to be successful:

  • Expert in HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript.
  • Proven experience developing scalable, accessible, and responsive web applications.
  • Experience building mobile-first or cross-platform interfaces.
  • Strong proficiency with at least one modern framework — React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, visual hierarchy, color, and typography.
  • Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and communicate complex flows effectively.
  • Familiar with code splitting, lazy loading, and asset optimization.
  • Understanding of front-end performance metrics and browser rendering pipelines.
  • Experience integrating LLM or ML-driven insights into user interfaces.
  • Comfort using AI-powered developer tools and frameworks to speed up workflows.
  • Experience with unit/integration testing, Git, and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
  • Exposure to Jira, CI/CD, and agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to advise design and AI teams on front-end feasibility and optimization trade-offs.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving startup environment where clarity, autonomy, and impact matter most.
  • Naturally curious about AI systems, semiconductor workflows, and intelligent automation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building data visualization dashboards or EDA-style interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Next.js, React Native, or Flutter.
  • Background or strong interest in semiconductor design tools, EDA workflows, or hardware-software co-design environments.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSocket, or RESTful API integration.
  • Remote (US / India).
